Savannah-Gracie R. Bevin, 95, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was a native of Savannah and graduate of Savannah State College. She moved to New York City where she received a master's degree from N.Y.U. and was employed for many years as a high school counselor before returning to Savannah. After retirement, she and her husband, Eric J.S. Bevin, were able to travel extensively. They enjoyed more than twenty cruises together prior to Mr. Bevin's death. Mrs. Bevin was a long time communicant of St. George's Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her nephew, Delano Rain; cousin, Sidney Dixon and many faithful friends.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 25, 2010 at St. George's Episcopal Church.

Entombment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Mausoleum.
